Oh, those yummy on-the-run protein bars!

Like I mentioned in my earlier post about protein powders (here), I'm a BIG fan of protein bars. Well, snack bars in general. As you might have guessed it already, only the best ones do for me. Hence, no gunk in them. My body is my temple and we only get one body in this lifetime. Think about that one, it certainly is true!

Anyhow, to my review then:


These 'babies' come with MINIMAL ingredients and no gunk. Did I mention that already? Wink. DAIRY FREE, NO sugar (very important so yey!) added, Low Carb Diet- Friendly with Coconut Oil and Collagen.


The almond one, for example, contains the following:

Almond and cacao butter, coconut oil, grass-fed collagen, sea salt, sunflower lecithin, tapioca fiber, and stevia. That's all.!

Nutritional info: Per 45g bar; Protein 10g, Fat 19g and carbs 11g of which sugars 1g.



Six flavors are available. Delicious, definitely filling and the texture is smooth to bite into but perfectly solid at the same time too. So, when you break it, it doesn't crumble to pieces as some do. Crumbs all over your lap, you know... no thanx.


I can see why these are liked and there are hundreds of good reviews from happy consumers! These are Nutritious bars that will keep your blood sugar in check as the bars contain soluble tapioca fiber => helps regulate blood sugar, promotes heart health and enhances digestion.

As these are single packaged, they're super easy to eat during travel, work, and pre or post-gym.





Nevertheless, I like to be honest and point out a few factors that you might want to know:


- Note, that as I'm not a keto- expert at all, these might not be the best option carb content-wise.

- Secondly, if one has gotten used to old fashioned (unhealthy) chocolate bars, these might taste bland. Or, the taste of stevia might be odd to some at first. You probably have heard it before, but I'll say it again: you'll get used to things. Fairly quickly in fact.

And your HEALTH is the main thing, eh?


- Thirdly, these contain grass-fed collagen which is great for us (collagen is rich in proline and glycine thereby great news for the gut), but naturally makes this bar not suitable for vegans.
